Responding to Covid

Pipeline Medical: Responding to COVID and putting Customers First

December 9, 2021

The world we live in now is very different than it was a year ago, and how we are responding to Covid. Pre-pandemic, we lived in a society that moderately washed their hands and prevented germs just as good as the next person. We covered our coughs and concealed our sneezes, had a little more consideration during flu season. Some paid more attention to cleanliness than others, thus coining the term “germophobe”.

But now we’re all germophobes.

Over the past year, we’ve become not only aware, but fearful of the outside world, and each other. Our homes are stocked with Personal Protective Equipment, and items such as masks and hand sanitizer are daily staples on us and everywhere we go. Terms such as Covid, pandemic, antibodies, CDC, virus, symptoms, PCR, diagnosis, vaccine, and quarantine are now part of our daily vernacular. Alongside COVID-19, many states across the nation were placed under mandatory quarantine in a concentrated effort to mitigate the spread of the virus during its peak. Schools, shopping malls, and businesses alike shuttered their doors without knowing when they would open again, while we were separated from our families and loved ones. As a nation, we slowed down everything to allow this virus to be controlled.

To date, there have been over 219 million confirmed cases of COVID-19 worldwide, with over 4.5 million deaths. In the United States alone, there have been over 44 million confirmed cases with over 710,000 deaths and unfortunately rising.

Pipeline lends its support

At the dawn of the COVID-19 Pandemic, Pipeline Medical has reigned supreme in customer care. Our team of employees has been supportive considering the disruptions in supply chain delivery. To support rising demands, Pipeline Medical removes complexities within the supply chain industry by providing fast and quick shipping while offering savings of between 20-50% on products for all subscribed members.

Pipeline Medical took a proactive standpoint pre-COVID 19 Pandemic. As soon as it was implied that there would be a surge in supply and demand of critical medical products, account managers encouraged their clients to stock up in preparation for the impending conditions. In preparation, Pipeline created a new department to specifically handle PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) requests and orders for other essential supplies to supply to their core customers and the Government. Additionally, this newly formed department went above and beyond, to address incoming orders and guarantee stocks were adequately supplied. To ensure further customer satisfaction, Pipeline expanded its vendor network to adapt to the swelling supply and demand of products. Furthermore, they redistributed unused allocations amongst other clients in need to minimize waste and make the most of the supply.

Brighter Roads Ahead

Pipeline Medical, like much of America, is hopeful for a brighter future, one without this terrible Global Pandemic. It’s reassuring to know that regardless of your medical or surgical supply needs, you can count on a company like Pipeline Medical to fulfill any order of any size and ship both domestically and internationally with quick and secured delivery.
